Power Boss Eluma... The Intelligent Lighting Control Solution

Lighting can account for 50% - 60% of the electrical energy costs of a warehouse, distribution and large retail facilities. Powerboss Eluma is an intelligent lighting fixture, which typically delivers savings of between 60% and 80% of the lighting costs in this type of facility. In addition to substantially reducing costs, Eluma will generally improve light quality and reduce maintenance and re-lamping costs. Not only is Powerboss Eluma a highly efficient luminaire, however it also takes account of the fact that at most times, lighting is left on in all areas of a warehouse even when no one is working there. Additional, in many warehouses natural light is present through roof lights, however the lights are always fully on. Powerboss Eluma intelligently senses occupancy in each area of the warehouse and/or the change in natural light and adjusts the light level and hence electrical energy usage accordingly.

Technical Details

The Powerboss Eluma luminaire product range is designed for mounting heights between 4 and 16 metres.  With a maximun connected load of 230W it achieves significant cost savings over conventional lighting fixtures, such as high-pressure sodium, metal halide and fluorescent fittings (with connected loads of 450W or over) whilst maintaining or improving existing illuminance levels.  The patented luminaire achieves high efficiency utilising a 4 x 55W compact fluorescent arrangement.

Significant additional savings can also be achieved through the utilisation of occupancy and daylight saving sensed on an individual luminaire basis.  One can also include the optional emergency lighting pack.
